Corkscrew Transmission Easement Matting Project – 02.2019

The Scott Commercial Contracting team installed miles of mats to complete an environmentally friendly, temporary, access road for power crews to install a new distribution line that transverses an environmentally sensitive section of the corkscrew cypress slough. Scott Commercial Contracting’s matting crews were able to give access to the line crews without adversely effecting this fragile ecosystem.

Everglades Transmission Easement Matting Project – 02.2021

The Scott Commercial Contracting team installed miles of mats to complete an environmentally friendly, temporary, access road for power crews to perform maintenance on a transmission line that transverses an area of sawgrass in the Florida Everglades. Although it seems logistically challenging to complete such a project, the Scott Commercial Contracting team is well equipped for any specialty access challenges our customers may have.

2” Directional Bore Downtown Fort Myers – 09.2021

The Scott Commercial Contracting team installed 2” HPDE pipe to transfer overhead power lines to underground for more dependable electrical power the surrounding community.

8” Directional Bore Venice – 04.2022

The Scott Commercial Contracting team installed a 1800’ continuous, 8” HPDE pipe for the installation of new wire to provide more dependable electrical power the surrounding community.

Terry Street Bonita Springs hardening project – 05.2017

The Scott Commercial Contracting team excavated the existing utilities in line with a new distribution power line project to ensure nothing was damaged during construction. Our fleet of vacuum trucks hydroexcavated the marked and unmarked underground utilities to provide a report to the line construction contractor to ensure they could safely place their new concrete poles without incident, financial loss, and inconveniencing the local community with loss of their major utility services.

Minnesota Twins Sidewalk Project – 01.02.2020

The Scott Commercial Contracting team formed and poured a large section of sidewalk for the Minnesota Twins Stadium in Fort Myers. This section of concrete provides safe access to a new section of the field. Our concrete crews can handle sidewalk projects both big and small, so give us a call!

Labelle Utility System Fire Hydrant Relocation – 10.2019

A new construction project dictated that an existing fire hydrant on the Labelle Utility System needed to be moved. The Scott Commercial Contracting team excavated existing fire hydrant using one of our hydroexcavation vacuum trucks to ensure no damage was made to surrounding services. The team then added the required piping to move the fire hydrant to the designated location and installed the new equipment.

Bonita Springs Drainage project – 04.2017

The Scott Commercial Contracting team excavated the existing drainage systems in place in front of this Bonita Springs condominium and replaced it with new drainage boxes to connect it to the adjacent underground drainage system so the condo could install a redesigned driveway.

Sidewalk Repairs – 06.2015

The Scott Commercial Contracting team excavated a severely damaged FDOT sidewalk and removed the broken concrete. Once new sub-base material was then installed & compacted, the replacement section of concrete sidewalk was formed and poured to DOT specifications.

Fire Hydrant Upgrades – 04.2022

The Scott Commercial Contracting team excavated the existing, aged infrastructure feeding fire hydrants using one of our hydroexcavation vacuum trucks to ensure no damage was made to surrounding services. The team then removed and replaced the existing water main and fire hydrant with new material to ensure this neighborhood is properly protected from possible future fires.

Substation Site work – 07.2018

Scott Commercial Contracting LLC performed the sitework for this new substation including installing and finishing grade of 57 stone throughout the new facility
